    • RE: Chaging from CPAP to BiPAP

@Sarah hi Sarah its very nice of you to check in with me. I have been using the BIPAP for almost 6 months now and finding it really good. I feel great no more headaches or daytime sleepiness, much more energy than this time last year! I use the nostril pillows P10 Airfit I think its called and a Phillips Dreamstation. The data from the machine is amazing and it means I need a sleep study less often! My AHI is down to about 0-3 on average which is down from 72 when I started therapy a year ago. Incredible technology! Thanks to you and the other members of this forum for your support when I really needed it! How are you doing? I love all your videos! Merry Christmas and hope 2021 is better for everyone! Kind regards, Carolyn

    • RE: Power Wheelchair Users

I have a Permobil C350 and I love everything! I love the tilt, recline, foot up and power elevation. I love the pedometer so I can see far I travel (not that I am going far now!) I love its reliability and design.
BUT they aren't making rear wheel drives anymore so that is a real bummer! How am I gonna get used to mid or front wheel drive when Ive had a rear wheel for over 30 years! What type of chair do you have Sarah?

    • RE: Chaging from CPAP to BiPAP

Hey Sarah, Anthony and Rainr I switched to BiPAP on Saturday for second time, the settings were adjusted to be lower so I could tolerate it. I tested it in my chair upright this time, and wanted to see what it felt like before I tried at sleep time. It was weird feeling at first watching my chest wall go in and out so much but I took to it fairly quickly. I tried it that night and low and behold after a lot of nerves I slept with it all night. and the next night! So proud of myself. Hopefully I can keep it up. Thanks for your support. This is an awesome forum - lets get more people on it! cheers, Carolyn

    • Chaging from CPAP to BiPAP

hi everyone Just wondering if any of you have gone from CPAP to BiPAP? How did you find it? Did they get the pressures right? I am used to CPAP for 6 months now but have to go on to BiPAP but my first try was a disaster as it felt like a vacuum cleaner sucking my face off it was so strong!
