    Sue

    @Sue

    I'm 55 years old and retired from primary school teaching 3 years ago, due to my body refusing to carry on for a full day at work. If I'm honest, I was struggling by recess. Anyhow I'm pretty lucky to have a mild form of MD, so i can still get around and do some weird version of what I like doing . My bike rides are on the flat, no wind and only about 2 kilometres for the round trip. I love it though! I wear a fit bit and konk out between 4,000 and 5,000 steps in a day, so I plan what I do around those steps. People often say they'd like to come riding or walking with me but I can't handle the pressure to keep going after I get tired. Generally they're just warming up when I'm packing it in. Plus, I dawdle - I take my camera and photograph nature. Another passtime I like is sketching, painting and writing short stories - all for my own enjoyment. I was married, and have 2 lovely adult daughters who have partners I like very much (thank heavens) and my life motto is to live my life on a whim. This isn't a short description, so i'd better stop.
