Some of us are already connected through peer groups in Vic and NSW, but this will be the first forum for adults with SMA across Australia. I'm thrilled that we have this chance to share our experiences and support each other. My sister Jeanette and brother Jude also have SMA and our two older sisters don’t have it. I worked as a lawyer in the human rights area until the last few years when I wrote a novel that was published by Black Inc. called The Healing Party. I'm now doing a PhD in creative writing/law.
